Aoyama Professionals · For host companies
AI-augmented interns. METI subsidy support. Staff upskilling on the side.
Pre-screened international interns deployed inside your company with industry-AI playbooks, while your existing staff learn the same methodology in parallel. ¥450K–¥1.3M in METI subsidies typically offset the cohort cost.
What you receive
Two parallel deliverables in one engagement: an intern doing AI work, and your team learning to do it.
AI-augmented intern hosting
Pre-screened international intern, placed inside your team for 6–12 weeks. Industry-specific AI playbook (manufacturing, finance, or healthcare) deployed from week one.
- Recruitment, screening, and Week-0 onboarding handled by APRO
- Weekly mentor check-ins with the intern (we don't disappear after placement)
- Industry-AI playbook scoped to your sector and your real workflows
- Cultural orientation and conflict-resolution support both directions
Parallel staff upskilling
Your existing staff sit alongside the intern in selected Academy modules. The intern leaves; the capability stays.
- Up to 3 staff seats included per cohort
- Same CORE · ARC · AER · Grow methodology, taught in your context
- Optional bilingual delivery (English + Japanese)
- Internal documentation in your house style at the end
Subsidy support
METI subsidies, applied for you
Three named programmes that typically apply to APRO host engagements. We help you assemble the application; your accountant or shimuho files it.
¥450K+
人材開発支援助成金
Human Resource Development Subsidy. Applies when the cohort is structured as formal training. Most common pathway for APRO host SMEs.
¥600K–¥1.3M
業務改善助成金
Business Improvement Subsidy. Applies when the AI playbook deployment counts as productivity tooling. Higher tiers when paired with capital investment.
varies by prefecture
DX推進助成金 (regional)
Tokyo Metropolitan and other prefectural DX grants (digital-transformation programmes). Stackable with the national programmes above in some cases.
Subsidy eligibility depends on company size, sector, prior subsidy history, and the application year's policy. APRO supports the application; final approval rests with the issuing ministry or local authority.
What you provide
We handle recruitment, screening, AI methodology, and subsidy support. You provide the host environment.
- Real projects with measurable outputs (not coffee runs, not filing)
- A designated mentor or supervisor on your team
- Standard intern-suitable workspace and equipment
- Regular feedback to the intern and to APRO
- Commitment to the agreed cohort length and Academy schedule
Talk to us before the next cohort
Cohorts run quarterly. Subsidy paperwork takes 4–6 weeks; we recommend booking a call at least one quarter before you'd like an intern in seat.
